Cairns Luxury Car Hire is a locally owned and managed company started in 2017 over a cup of tea one morning when Jason King said to his wife Merryn that he’d noticed an opportunity in the market as there were no luxury self drive car hire companies in the area. Jason was a huge car lover and Merryn had massive experience in the tourism and hospitality business. Merging the two fields seemed like a natural step so hence Cairns Luxury Car Hire was born.
Jason had already ordered the first car for the fleet, our V8 Ruby Red Mustang, hence our tagline of “Ask for forgiveness, not permission”!
With over 25 years of experience in the Tourism Industry, owner Merryn King understands the importance of the highest levels of customer service and loves nothing better than being able to offer a luxury product.
